Late Bloom

A pink-petalled flower leaning to one side, its centre dense with gold and brown, against a deep blue ground.

About the Work

Part of Flora Against Blue. The flower is more asymmetrical and inward-looking than First Sun. Its darker centre and pink petals suggest a bloom that is not fading, but becoming more complex.
